Marlin Model 36 RC Safety – .30-30 Win – MFG 1950 – 1936 Lever-Action Rifle
This is a no reserve penny auction for a Marlin Model 36 lever-action rifle in .30-30 Win. Serial number- G4582. It is in amazing condition for its age! A hard-to-find example of a Marlin Model 1936 .30-30 Win caliber lever action rifle. Based the the letter prefix on the serial the rifle was manufactured in 1950. The model 1893 was a refinement of the earlier "New Safety" Model 1889, which was the first solid-top receiver, lever action rifle with a side ejection that threw the fired cases, or live cartridges, to the right-hand side of the rifle as opposed to being thrown straight up and out of the gun. The Model 1936 is an evolution of the Model 1893 and the direct predecessor of the legendary Marlin 336. Finding a Marlin Model 1936 can be difficult to find since they only made them for a short time before the Model 336 upgrade.
