This is a no reserve penny auction for a Remington Model 11-48 semi automatic shotgun in 16 Gauge. Serial number- 5545937. This Remington is great condition for its age with an excellent bore! This 11-48 features a 28" barrel with a fixed MOD choke and a 2 3/4" chamber. Please review photos for exact condition. The 11-48 is a long-recoil operated semi-automatic shotgun based on the Model 11, itself based on an 1898 design by John Browning. The 11-48 differs from the Model 11 in the shape of its machined steel receiver and the use of cheaper stamped steel internal parts.
