For sale is a Arisaka Type 99 bolt-action rifle in 7.7×58. Serial number – 33766. Bolt Sn matches receiver! This Arisaka is still in solid condition especially if you consider the fact that the vast majority of Type 99s were heavily used and it is difficult to find one in excellent condition. The bore is fair, with some frosting and pitting (the rifling is still intact). This rifle still has the full Chrysanthemum. Please see photos for exact condition, as this rifle show surface blemishes consistent with a milsurp of its age.

Rifles with the chrysanthemum intact are likely war trophies returned to the US by troops that fought in the Pacific War. The Arisaka Type 99 was the standard issue of the Imperial Japanese military during the 2nd Sino-Japanese War and World War II.
