Colt MK IV Series 70 Government Model 1911 – .45 ACP

For sale is a Colt MK IV Series 70 Government Model 1911. Serial number- 04957B70. Manufactured in 1979 this Government Model 1911 is in great condition and comes with one magazine. It also features Resin Ivory grips with a gold Colt medallion in the center. To all outward appearances, the Series 70 is a gussied-up M1911A1. It has the frame, sights, and arched mainspring housing of the M1911A1. The Colt MK IV Series 70 was an improvement over the M1911A1/Government Model by redesigning the barrel bushing to grip the barrel and give the production gun much-improved accuracy.

Please see the photos to determine the condition of the pistol for yourself. Note the pistol is pretty tough to rack but this probably means the spring just needs to be broken in a little bit.
