Colt Single Action Frontier Scout 62 – .22 LR

For sale is a Colt Single Action Frontier Scout ’62 revolver in .22 LR. Serial number- 13201P. This revolver comes was manufactured in 1963. Inspired by the popularity of TV westerns such as Gunsmoke and Maverick coupled with the burgeoning sport of fast draw, and no doubt spurred on by the success of Ruger’s Single Six, in 1957, Colt Industries brought out a .22-caliber version of its famed Single Action Army, which they had reintroduced two years earlier. This new, scaled-down sixgun was appropriately christened the Colt Frontier Scout. Please refer to the photos as there are minor scratches present on the frame and grips.

Please see photos to assess the condition for yourself. It is missing its grips, it appears to have been refinished, and there is spots of surface rust/pitting on the barrel. We also believe it has had some trigger work done as it has a very light trigger and hammer push.
