For sale is a Prussian Police DWM Luger semi-automatic pistol in 9mm. Serial number- 4198. This luger was manufactured in 1921 by DWM and was issued to Prussian Police in Breslau. There are interwar proof stamps on the receiver. It appears all visible serials match except the serial on the Mauser aluminum bottom magazine. The magazine is included. The bore has some pitting but the rest of the pistol is in great condition. The front strap of the pistol has S.Br. L. unit stamps, indicating it was issued/carried by Prussian/German police in Breslau during the Interwar period before WWII. Breslau is now in modern Poland and was renamed Wroclaw after the region was annexed into Poland after WWII. The city was one of the largest strongholds of the Nazi Party during this period, nearly 44% of the city voted for the Nazi party in the 1932 German election.
