For sale is an Ithaca NID Grade 2 in 12ga accepting 2 3/4" shells. Serial number- 441821. Has extractors. This shotgun is in great condition especially considering its age! However, Please refer to the pictures as it splitting from the end-plate/butt stock. There are also some hairline cracks where the receiver meets the wood as well as a chip in the forend as seen in the pictures. Both barrels are FULL chokes according to the "4's" on the flats of the barrel. The Ithaca "New Ithaca Double" (NID) is an awesome gun with brilliant mechanics, super-strong receiver, and affordable cost. The NID was the last rendition of side x side produced by the Ithaca Gun Co. Replacing the prolific Flues model in 1926 and produced through 1949, the NID was touted as Ithaca’s strongest action ever, second only to the venerable Winchester Model 21.
