For sale is a Remington Nylon 66 AB semi-automatic rifle in .22 LR. Serial number- None (Note: Remington began numbering this model in 1964 after this gun was produced). This is the Apache Black and Chrome finish model made from 1962 -1984. The barrel code reads "EL 34" which means a manufacture date of Oct. 1964 (as we understand it). There is some pitting on the receiver and rust in the internals and the rear sight. Everything appears to function properly, however. There is also an engraved name on the receiver that reads "Mr. Allen Bernard Spillman". The Remington Nylon 66 was a rifle manufactured by Remington Arms from 1959 to 1989. It was one of the earliest mass-produced rifles to feature a stock made from a material other than wood. Known to be one of the best plinker 22's of all time.
