For sale is a Ruger M77 MKII in 7.62×39 Serial number- 788-89260. This Ruger is in great condition and has a shiny bore. This particular Ruger M77 is chambered in 7.62×39 and features a Hi-Polish blue finish on a Zytel (boat paddle) stock with a stainless bolt. These were originally produced as fully stainless rifles but this example is blued (model #07973). The serial number range noted for this model is 788-09425 to 788-89521, it is speculated that only 62 of the blued 7.62×39 M77's were shipped. With this rifle having a late serial number, it is assumed that Ruger made more 7.62×39 receivers to use up the rest of the Zytel stocks in the final year of production.
