Ruger Super Single-Six – .22 LR – Mfg. 1972

Ruger Super Single-Six – .22 LR – Mfg. 1972

$449.00

For sale is a Ruger Super Single-Six Revolver in .22LR. Serial number-61-02376. Mfg. 1972. This revolver is in good condition but there is some rust present on the cylinder as seen in the pictures. It includes the .22 LR cylinder only. It Does NOT have the transfer bar conversion. The "Convertible Single-Six" was introduced in 1961 and had both a 22 LR and 22 rimfire magnum cylinders, but still with fixed sights. Adjustable sights were added to the Old Model Convertible in 1964 and were named "Super Single-Six", probably to compliment Ruger's Super Blackhawk models. The "Super Single-Six" name stuck when the new models were introduced in 1973, still with the same meaning … adjustable sights and convertible cylinders vs the fixed sight "Single-Six".
