For sale is a type 56 military SKS semi-automatic rifle in 7.62×39. Serial number – 8012393. This rifle was produced for the Chinese military at Arsenal 26 (Jianshe arsenal). Overall the rifle is in very good condition and has a bright bore. Please Note: the safety lever indexes but is very loose. Also Please note: The bolt serial number does not match… all other serial numbers match on top cover, receiver, carrier, trigger guard and magazine. The buttstock serial is off by one digit(may or may not be considered "matching") The bayonet on this rifle is the older Russian "blade" style (as is the case with serial numbers lower than 9,000,000). Having a mismatched bolt serial might make this SKS less "collectable" but it's in VERY good condition and will make a great shooter. SKS's are still climbing in value as a popular intermediate cartridge firearm. Get the nice ones while you still can!
