Ready for Purchase is a Smith & Wesson 29-2 double-action revolver in .44 Mag. Serial number – N644599. This revolver is in good condition however there is some blemish to the nickel on the cylinder and part of the frame. The stamp under the grip dates this gun to 1985. At the time of its introduction, the Model 29 was the most powerful production handgun, although it was later overtaken by handguns chambered for the even larger .454 Casull and .50 Action Express cartridges. It was made famous worldwide by association with the fictional character "Dirty Harry" Callahan.
