For sale is a Smith & Wesson Model 629 double-action revolver in .44 magnum. Serial number- N879628. This stainless steel 629 is in fair condition is a no-dash pre-lock model. This model also features a 6 inch barrel and a 6 round cylinder. Introduced in 1978, the Smith & Wesson Model 629 is a stainless steel version of the Model 29. Smith & Wesson's large frame revolvers are a favorite choice among handgun hunters, competitive shooters, and revolver enthusiasts. The Smith & Wesson Model 629 Double-Action Revolver is a serious big game hunting handgun, capable of taking large species, with the hard-hitting .44 magnum cartridge. The overall weight of the N-Frame revolver tames the recoil to a very manageable level in relation to the gun's power.
