For sale is a Smith & Wesson revolver in .38 SPL. Serial number- BKV0826. This stainless steel 64-5, also known as the 64 military and police, is in good condition and comes with a leather DeSantis holster. The Model 64 is a six-shot double-action revolver with fixed sights chambered in .38 Special. It was the second all stainless steel revolver made by Smith & Wesson, the first being the Smith & Wesson Model 60. It was widely used by several U.S. police, sheriff, and state agencies and was a popular choice in high humidity states because the stainless model 64 was more corrosion and rust-resistant than the blued Model 10. Noted for its accuracy, dependability, and manageable recoil, the Model 64 is still in use for security, target shooting, formal target competition, and personal defense. Please note, the grips do not appear to be original as gaps are present around the frame as seen in photos.
