$3,799.99

Up for grabs is a Smith & Wesson Model of 1926 aka .44 Hand Ejector 3rd Model revolver in .44 SPL. Serial number- S69238. Serials all match including the cylinder. Post-War N Frame. Original blue finish in great condition! Lock up is tight and timing is spot on. These models do not come available in this condition often making this a very rare find! This is a beautiful example of an M1926, third model hand-ejector with the desirable “4 Inch” barrel. Based on the serial number of this pistol it was probably produced around 1947/1948 time frame. The grips appear to be real ivory but do have a small crack as seen in the pictures.

The hand ejector models were exquisitely made handguns. Spanning the era from 1908 to 1966, there were four basic ones — simply labeled by collectors as 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Model Hand Ejectors. The 3rd Model was also called the Model 1926 for its year of introduction. The Third Model was a special-order gun until July 1940, when it was listed in the Smith & Wesson catalog shortly before it was discontinued. It was reintroduced in 1946, following the war.

The bore is in Excellent condition!
