For sale is a Waffenstadt Suhl Sportmodell bolt-action single shot training rifle in .22 LR. Serial number- 9395. This rifle is in good condition and was manufactured in 1935. The Deutsch Sportmodell was a popular training arm with the Germans in the pre-war years. Features include blade and tangent sights, with "1935/ Waffenstadt/ (crest)/ Suhl" on the chamber, and caliber and model markings on the barrel. In addition, both the barrel and receiver are stamped with (captured) Birmingham "crown/ BNP" proofs.
