For sale is a Walther PPK/S double-action semi-automatic pistol in 9mm Kurz (.380 ACP). Serial number- 245623. This PPK/S was manufactured in West Germany in 1980 and imported to the US by Interarms. This PPK/S is in very good condition and comes with 2 magazines, a holster, an extra pair of original hard plastic Walther grips, and the original manual. This Walther features a proof stamp from the Ulm house in Germany and an "IA" stamp indicating a 1980 manufacture date. West German PPKs made after 1968 are very uncommon in the US, as they could be imported by law enforcement personnel but less than a thousand or so made it into the country before BATF put a stop to that practice. An evolution of the classic PPK, the PPK/s maintains the timeless features, essence, and the elegance of the original with an additional extended grip allowing for added capacity and improved ergonomics. Walther’s industry-leading innovation takes the spotlight with their PPK model handguns. At the time of its invention over 80 years ago, the PPK inspired an entirely new category in the firearm industry, now widely known as the concealed carry pistol.
