$4,499.00

For sale is a Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Super Grade bolt-action rifle in .300 H&H Mag. Serial number – 246417. Mfg. 1952. The rife is in fantastic condition with some minor scratches or wear. A scope mount was added to this rifle and was very well done as there are no tool marks. It will be up to the next owner to find swivel mount/rings for the side mount. The rifle is equipped with a Lyman peep sight and comes with an extra Redfield peep. The rifle also comes with a box of (18) Federal Premium .300 H&H Mag 180 grain trophy bonded tip rounds (2 are missing). Please note the box of H&H Rounds must be shipped separately from the rifle, however, the rounds are uncommon and are a $100 value!

The Winchester Model 70 (pre-64) was not just one of the best and most practical bolt action rifles ever created: it became a cultural icon. The Super Grade is even better and should already be on your wish list. Honestly, The Super Grade is on most hunters' and collectors' wish lists. Its highly polished, deeply-blued steel and finely checkered, fancy grain walnut stock with shadowline cheekpiece define the timeless grace and elegance of the Model 70 Super Grade. A one-piece steel bottom metal adds extra rigidity to the Super Grade’s stock and action for improved accuracy. The super grade’s shadowline cheekpiece is beautifully functional, placing your eye in perfect alignment with the scope.
