Little discussion can be had on the subject of American infantrymen in World War Two without the mention of the highly-acclaimed M1 Garand rifle. As the standard infantry rifle of the Second World War GI, the Garand saw combat throughout theaters in Europe with the United States Army and especially in the Pacific with the United States Marine Corps. The M1 Garand served as the standard-issue rifle of the US military during WWII and the Korean War. This particular M1 is a WWII era model being manufactured in 1941.

Winchester’s M1 production ran from 1941 until June, 1945, and the WIN-13 represented the last production variant of the Winchester Garand. By the time Winchester ceased M1 production, the company turned out a total of 513,880 Garand rifles as compared to just over 3 1/2 million by Springfield Armory. Add this rare piece of history to your collection before it's gone!
