For sale is a Winchester Model 1912 pump-action shotgun in 12 gauge. Serial number-161869. This shotgun is in fantastic condition. The bore is clean and clear and there is no rust or pitting anywhere on the firearm. We believe the shotgun is chromed but we do know for sure if this shotgun is nickeled, chromed, or all the finish was removed. The stamps seem really clear to have been refinished but we do know for sure. This shotgun features a 13.5" length of pull, a 2 3/4" chamber, and a Cyl choke. After running a serial number lookup, we believe this firearm was manufactured in 1918. Throughout the first half of the 20th century, many firearm enthusiasts considered the Model 1912/12 the best shotgun in the world. It held this title until Remington released the model 870 in 1950. The shotgun the US military in WWI, WWII, Korea, and the beginning of the Vietnam war due to its reliability and effectiveness.
