Winchester Model 21 – 16 Gauge

$9,999.00

For sale is a Winchester Model 21 side-by-side double-barrel shotgun in 16 Gauge. Serial number- 5660. This shotgun is in excellent overall condition but be sure to see the photos to assess the condition for yourself. We attempted to get a Cody Letter this Model 21 but there was no serial record for this shotgun. We believe it was manufactured sometime in the early 1930s and is a Standard grade. This shotgun is in excellent condition with very few or no marks, scratches, dings, or dents but note there are two dings on the right side of the stock. The wood is still smooth and shiny, the blued finish is in near perfect condition. Length of pull is 13 1/2", 2 3/4" chamber, and Modified and Full chokes. Has ejectors.

With the design and production promoted by John M. Olin, the Model 21 was one of Winchester’s finest shotguns with regards to quality, reliability, and strength. Although technically a production gun, each example was custom-made in terms of configuration, workmanship, quality, and attention to detail. The Model 21 was Winchester's effort to make a quality side by side shotgun to rival those of high-end makers such as Parker and Fox. The Model 21 has a considerable collectors following as it is regarded as almost a custom-made shotgun.
