This Model 37A Youth is in good condition features a 26" barrel with a fixed improved modified choke and a 3" chamber. Length of pull is 12.5 inches. Has an ejector. The Winchester Model 37 was an American break-action single-shot shotgun produced by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company from 1936 to 1963. One of Winchester's better selling products, the Model 37 was a low-cost single-shot shotgun that was quite popular. The Model 37 was a break-action single-barrel shotgun with an exposed hammer. This exposed hammer earned the Model 37's hammer the nickname of Pigtail due to its resemblance to one. The weapon was constructed mostly out of steel, which earned it the nickname Steelbilt.
