Featured Gun – Barrett MRAD For Sale
What Makes the Barrett MRAD Special?
Barrett Firearms Mfg. designed the MRAD for precision and modularity. The model name is an acronym for “Multi-Role Adaptive Design”.
The upper receiver features 7000-series aluminum and an M1913 Picatinny top rail with taper. This bolt-action sniper rifle maintains precision while granting the operator serious effective distance!
Because it was originally designed for United States Special Operations Command, you can be sure it meets or exceeds rigorous civilian standards.
No need to bring this one to the local gunsmith when a barrel change is desired; the operator can switch barrel lengths or calibers by applying a standard Torx wrench to only two bolts. Swapping barrels can be achieved in as little as two minutes!
The match-grade trigger module is fully adjustable. Did we mention that the folding stock tucks into the right side, making the overall width lean and clean? When the stock is extended, operators will find it just as reliable as a fixed-stock rifle.
Why Do You Need THIS Gun?
Regardless of your build and shooting preferences, the MRAD was built for you!
The length of pull and cheek piece height can easily be manipulated without tools. Paddle mag release is a breeze for lefties and righties. The thumb-operated safety can also be applied to the left or right side for additional ambidextrous ease.

Every Gun Tells A Story. Here’s Barrett MRAD’s Story.
The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) put out a call for a precision sniper rifle (PSR) in December 2009. Chris Barrett answered that call by improving upon the already successful Barrett 98B.
Ultimately, the Remington Modular Sniper Rifle won the PSR bid. That said, on March 11th, 2019 USSOCOM awarded Barret Firearms Manufacturing Inc. a $50mm contract to produce the Barrett MRAD for their Advanced Sniper Rifle (ASR) project.
According to Barrett.net, “There has never been a time in US History that both a father and son have each fielded a military-designated rifle system until now: Ronnie with the M107 and Chris with the MRAD.” Ronnie Barrett is founder and CEO of Barrett Firearms Mfg. and father of Chris Barrett who is president of the company.
Since the introduction of the Barrett MRAD, police and military units adopted the rifle in a variety of countries including Israel (Yamam, IDF), New Zealand, Norway and the United States.
