Action Arms IMI UZI Model B – 9mm – Carbine – Israel – OG Case & 6 Mags

This is a no reserve penny auction for an IMI UZI Model B semi-automatic rifle in 9mm. Serial number- SA66331. This Uzi is in excellent condition with a pristine bore and comes with the original hard case, sling, original paperwork, sight adjustment tool,, (1) 32-round magazine, and (5) 25-round magazines. Someone at IMI put Uzi in contact with Harry Stern (founder of Action Arms, LTD.) and Uzi took a job at Action Manufacturing. Initially Uzi Gal worked on projects unrelated to the UZI. Then one day, Daniel Tabas, a sporting arms distributor in Melrose Park and a friend of Harry Stern suggested that Uzi should design a semi-automatic version of the UZI for the civilian market. Harry passed this suggestion on to Uzi, who initially dismissed it but later agreed. Uzi's were imported by Action Arms between 1984 and 1991, though they were sold after 1991. 1993 was the last year that Uzi exported them to the U.S. and 1993/1994 was the last year that Action Arms existed. However Acton Arms stopped importing them in 1991, due to the threat of an "assault weapon" ban that came in 1994.
