The Arisaka Type 99 was the standard issue of the Imperial Japanese military during the 2nd Sino-Japanese War and World War II. At the end of the war in the Pacific, the Japanese were surrounded by their enemies and cut off from war material. However, they were ready to fight to the bitter end. Arisaka Type 99 Last Ditch rifles show how desperate the Japanese were to continue the fight regardless of their shortage of vital materials. It marks a very specific time of WWII history for Japan. Great for a WWII collection.
