Astra A-70 – 9mm – 3 Mags – Interarms – Inspired Wilson Combat EDC-X9

This is a no reserve penny auction for an Astra A-70 semi-auto pistol in 9mm. Serial number – U5549. This pistol is in great condition with an excellent bore and comes with (3) single stack magazines – (1) 8-round, and (2) 7-round aftermarket magazines. The Astra A-70 was produced from 1991 – 1994 and imported from Spain by Interarms.

The Astra A-70 is a compact pistol designed for those that need more firepower than offered by the Astra Constable. It has a weight of 31 oz, OAL of 6.5 inch, 4.75 inch in height and 1.5 inch wide with a 3.5 inch barrel. The Astra A-70 is an 8-shot, single action recoil operated semi-automatic with a right side only thumb safety. It has fixed combat sights.

This is one of two guns that inspired Bill Wilson of Wilson Combat to design the EDC-X9 (the other being the Browning BDM). He wanted a gun that felt like an Astra A-70, but had a 15+1 Capacity.
