British Lend-Lease Remington Rand 1911A1 pistols are U.S.-made .45 ACP sidearms supplied to the UK under the Lend-Lease Act during WWII. These pistols usually saw combat, especially with airborne units and commandos, and their combined US and British markings tell a story of international wartime cooperation and post-war surplus. This pistol has minor finish wear consistent with age and use. Please see the photos to assess the condition of the pistol for yourself.
PLEASE NOTE: The barrel is a Colt replacement and not WWII era. Also NOTE that the iron sights/grips are aftermarket as well and installed at some point in this Remington's life.
