Browning 1885 High Wall – 6BR – Falling Block – Precision Benchrest

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Browning 1885 High Wall falling block single-shot rifle in 6BR. Serial number – 3832W37. This bench rest rifle is in fantastic condition with an excellent bore! The rifling of the heavy barrel is bright, sharp and distinct all the way down! The falling-block action appears to function exactly as it should, and the receiver and barrel are drilled/tapped with scope rings. The 6mm BR is a highly accurate centerfire rifle cartridge used primarily for competitive benchrest shooting. The "BR" stands for "Bench Rest". There are two main commercial variants, the older 6mm BR Remington and the modern, more common 6mm Norma BR.
