C.G. Bonehill Side by Side – 12 Gauge – Damascus – SxS – External Hammer

This is a no reserve penny auction for a C.G. Bonehill Side by Side shotgun in 12 Gauge. Serial number – 26460. This shotgun features 30¾" barrels, two triggers with 14¾" & 13¾" length of pull. We are unsure of the chambers or the chokes. Please refer to the photos of the underside of the barrels as there are multiple markings.

C.G. Bonehill SxS shotguns are high-quality, double-barreled shotguns made by the English gunmaker Christopher George Bonehill. Bonehill's guns were known for their meticulous craftsmanship and were popular for both sporting and hunting purposes. This particular shotgun has seen better days, but you can still see the great detail of the engravings on the receiver.

Both sides of the receiver are marked – C. G. Bonehill

Please refer to the photos as there is a great deal of wear throughout this shotgun's metal and wood surfaces. The barrels are in poor condition – The Left external hammer is missing – The extractor is missing from the barrel – There are two cracks seen on the under/side of the tang – The forend is cracked and there is evidence of repairs. Please see the photos to assess the condition of the shotgun for yourself. This would make a fine wall-hanger piece as we do not recommend it being fired until it has been seen by a Gunsmith and has been thoroughly inspected and repaired.
