Carl Gustafs M38 Swedish Mauser – 6.5x55mm Swede – MFG 1915

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktori M38 bolt-action rifle in 6.5x55mm. Serial number- 338253. This rifle is in good condition for its age, an excellent bore and was manufactured in 1915. It has the proper Swedish Crown proofs throughout and includes a cleaning rod. Imported by CAI ST ALB VT (stamped on barrel), "Swedish Mausers" are a family of bolt-action rifles based on an improved variant of Mauser's earlier Model 1893, but using the 6.5×55mm cartridge, and incorporating unique design elements as requested by Sweden.

Please note this rifle is non matching and various hairline cracks are seen on the stock.
