Colt Army Special Double Action Revolver – .32-20 WCF – MFG 1923 – XLNT – C

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Colt Army Special double-action revolver in .32-20 WCF, with a 6" barrel. Serial number – 498954. This historic revolver is an amazing condition, and includes a leather holster, and zippered case. The double and single action on this revolver are crisp, and the bore is in EXCELLENT condition! The lock up is rock-solid with perfect timing, and the trigger is crisp with no over-travel. The crane cut is marked with "RR" and the Rampant Colt mark appears on the left side of the receiver. The Colt Army Special was a pistol designed by Colt to replace the various over-complicated models of Colt New Army and New Navy revolvers. It was in production from 1908 to 1927 in hopes of securing a military contract.
