This is a no reserve penny auction for a Colt Python revolver in .357 Magnum. Serial number- E63911. This Colt Python is in good condition for its age with a PRISTINE bore and was manufactured in 1974. Features include a 6" barrel, Nickel finish, vent rib, and a 6-round cylinder. Built on Colt’s large I-frame. Pythons have a reputation for accuracy, smooth trigger pull, and a tight cylinder lock-up. Some firearm collectors and writers such as Jeff Cooper, Ian V. Hogg, Chuck Hawks, Leroy Thompson, Scott Wolber, Renee Smeets, and Martin Dougherty have described the Python as the finest production revolver ever made.
