Colt Single Action Army 1st Gen – .32 WCF – SAA – Nickel Finish – MFG 1904
This is a no-reserve penny auction for a First Gen Colt Single Action Army revolver in .32 WCF. Serial number- 255537. This revolver is in great overall condition for its age and features a great bore with visible lands and grooves and minor pitting. This old revolver comes as-is with no extras. All serials match except for the loading gate. After running a serial number lookup, we've determined the frame was manufactured in 1904. We cannot confirm whether or not this is the original finish configuration, however, we don't suspect it is. It does not appear to have original grips. All that being said, it still has excellent timing and lock-up with no issues!
The Colt Single Action Army (SAA), also called the Peacemaker, is a single-action revolver introduced in 1873 for the U.S. Army and used until 1892. Known for its role in the American West, it became popular among ranchers, lawmen, and outlaws alike. Originally offered with a 7.5-inch barrel, it also came in shorter lengths like the "Sheriff’s Model." Chambered in over 30 calibers, including .45 Colt, it has seen revivals due to demand, with over 357,000 units produced by 1941. Today, the Colt SAA is a treasured collectible and an enduring symbol of the Old West.
