This is a no reserve penny auction for a Colt Single Action Army Model 1873 Bisley in .41 Long Colt. Serial number- 248075. Manufactured in 1903. This revolver is in Good Overall Condition for its age and features a Good Bore. The lands are distinct all the way down – minor pitting is seen; the forcing cone looks great, and the action is crisp and functions exactly as it was designed! Timing appears to be great, and the lockup is tight. This is an amazing example of a Colt SAA! The Colt Bisley was introduced in 1894 as an accurate target pistol. The name Bisley came from the famous firing range in Bisley, England. The Colt Bisley can be distinguished by the longer grip, the wider hammer spur, and the wider trigger.
