Colt Single Action Army Bisley Model – .38 WCF – Mfg. 1907 – SAA Revolver

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Colt Single Action Army Bisley Model revolver in .38 WCF. Serial number- 289693. Manufactured in 1907! This is a nice example of a Colt Single Action Army from 1907 with all matching serial numbers. Chambered in .38 WCF with a 4.75 inch barrel. The bore has great rifling, but there are some spots of surface oxidation and minor pitting. The lockup and timing is good. It also comes with a leather holster. The Colt Bisley (1894–1912) was introduced in 1894 as an accurate target pistol. The name Bisley came from the famous firing range in Bisley, England. The Colt Bisley can be distinguished by the longer grip, the wider hammer spur, and the wider trigger. Please see the photos as the finish is coming off in some areas.
