This revolver is in great condition and comes with a wooden presentation case. Features include a gold finish, elegant scroll engravings performed by Monk Swartzfeger, and one of a kind screw-less grips with a quintessential "Cowboys & Indians" scene. Other features include 4 click hammer, six shot cylinder, and a 5.5" barrel with an excellent bore. After running a serial number lookup, we've determined that this revolver was manufactured in 1978. From the outset, the Colt Single Action Army was to single-action what the Colt Python was to double-action revolvers, the Cadillac of handguns. These pistols are popular with horseback riding competitions and Western Movie fans. It is easily one of the most recognizable American guns in history.
