Engraved German Adolf Loesche Single Shot Stalking Rifle – 6.3mm – DRGM – C

This is a no reserve penny auction for an Adolf Loesche Single Shot Stalking Rifle in 6.3mm. Serial number – 19. This rifle is in good condition for its age and features an engraved receiver, cocking indicator on top of action, 25 1/2" octagonal barrel with an excellent bore, Monte Carlo stock with round knob grip, sling swivels, and set trigger. All visible serial numbers appear to be matching. In the early 1900s, many hunters in Germany utilized the drilling, and many were adopting the latest bolt action rifles of Mauser design, but still others were using light, slender, and svelte single-shot rifles such as this one.

Please refer to the photos as a hairline crack is seen on the right side of the forend. Also, the safety mechanism is stuck and pulling the trigger does not appear to drop the firing pin mechanism.
