FN Browning A5 Light Twelve – 12 Gauge – Auto 5 – MFG 1961 – A-5 – C

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Browning A-5 Light Twelve semi-automatic shotgun in 12 Gauge. Serial number – 1G46089. This shotgun features a 13 5/8" length of pull, 2 3/4" chamber, and a fixed full choke. Other features include a vent rib, a 26" barrel with an excellent bore, and Prince of Wales stock. The original manual is also included. After running a serial number lookup, we believe this shotgun was manufactured in Belgium in 1961.

The Browning Automatic 5, most often Auto-5 or simply A-5, is a recoil-operated semi-automatic shotgun designed by John Browning. It was the first successful semi-automatic shotgun design, and remained in production until 1998.

Please refer to the photos as multiple cracks are seen on the forend, a crack is seen on the stock wrist, and heavy finish wear is seen on the stock. Also, the front sight bead is missing.
