German August Wolf Drilling – 16 Gauge & 7.7x57mm – Engraved – Suhl – C

This is a no reserve penny auction for a German August Wolf Drilling combination shotgun/rifle in 16 Gauge & 7.7x57mm. Serial number – 4265. This drilling is in great condition for its age and features a Monte Carlo style stock, integrated trapdoor cartridge holder on the bottom of the stock, sling swivels, flip up rear peep sight, extractor, double triggers, a 13 3/4" length of pull to the forward trigger, and 26 3/4" barrels with excellent bores. All visible serial numbers appear to be matching, and elegant engravings are seen throughout the receiver. The trigger guard appears to be made of a polished horn material. The "6/26" stamp on the barrel represents a manufacture date of June 1926.

Please refer to the photos as three small dents are seen on the barrels, and they can be seen in the bore. Also, the rifle flip up sight on the barrel rib is not functioning correctly, and dings are seen on the bottom corner of the stock.
