This is a no reserve penny auction for a Heckler & Koch 94 semi-automatic rifle in 9mm. Serial number – 4866. This 94 is in great condition with an excellent bore and comes with eleven 30-round mags and two 20-round magazines. The "IF" date code seen on the receiver reflects 1985 as the year of manufacture. The HK94 is a civilian/semi-automatic carbine built by Heckler & Koch in the 1970s–1980s as a commercial counterpart to the company’s compact 9mm family. Its roots trace back to H&K’s roller-delayed blowback system developed for the G3 rifle. Engineers at H&K scaled that mechanism down and optimized it for pistol calibers, which produced a line of 9mm designs culminating in the famous MP5 submachine gun. The MP5 proved highly successful with police and special forces worldwide for its accuracy, low felt recoil, and modularity.
