Ithaca Model 37R – 12 GA – Poly Choke – 2 3/4 IN – 1941 – Slam Fire!

This is a no reserve penny auction for an Ithaca Model 37R pump action shotgun in 12 gauge. Serial number- 71098. Despite some minor finish wear, this shotgun is in good working condition with a good bore! We believe this shotgun was manufactured in 1941. It's in good condition and features a 24" ribbed barrel chambered for 2 3/4" shells with a poly choke. The R denotes a solid rib. Designed by John Moses Browning, and originally manufactured in 1937, the Model 37 has stood the test of time, providing generations of sportsmen with a reliable firearm for all types of hunting. The Ithaca 37 (or Model 37) is a pump-action shotgun made in large numbers for the civilian, military, and police markets.
