Izhevsk M91/59 Mosin Nagant – 7.62X54R – MATCHING WWII Soviet Carbine -1943

This is a no reserve penny auction for an Izhevsk M91/59 Mosin Nagant in 7.62x54R. Serial number- SP4704. This rifle is in great condition, has an excellent bore, and was manufactured in 1943 at the Izhevsk Factory. All visible serial numbers appear to be matching. The metal work and bore are in excellent shape. The Stock shows signs of her age. The 91/59 is a carbine made by cutting down and refurbishing older M91/30's into easier to carry and use carbines. In addition to being shortened the rear sight is also modified to make the range indications correspond to the shorter barrel. Note: the cleaning rod is missing.
