J. Manton & Co – 12 Gauge – Side by Side – Hammer Sidelock Action

This is a no reserve penny auction for a J. Manton & Co Side by Side Shotgun in 12 Gauge. Serial number – 38208. This Shotgun is in fair condition for it's age, but she could use some special TLC as both bores are pitted, and in poor condition. Features of this Side by Side shotgun include 30" "Laminated Steel" barrels, checkered stock and forend, hammer type sidelock action, double triggers, brass bead sight, metal butt plate, scroll engraved locks and receiver, and a sidelever barrel release. LoP is 13¼" and 14". ​​This shotgun has finish wear commensurate with age and use. Please see the photos to assess the condition of the shotgun for yourself.
