J.P. Sauer & Sohn SxS Drilling – 16 Gauge & 9.3x72mm – Beautiful Sidelock

This is a no reserve penny auction for a J.P. Sauer & Sohn SXS Drilling Shotgun/Rifle in 16GA/9.3x72mm Serial number- 168041. This shotgun is in good condition. It features 26-inch barrels chambered in 16ga, 2 12" Chamber, with extractors and a 24" 9.3x72mm rifle on the bottom. The length of pull is 14" from the front trigger and 13" for the rear. JP Sauer was and still is a premium German manufacturer and is the oldest firearms manufacturer in Germany. They have built beautiful shotguns and rifles over the decades and this one is no exception. We believe this shotgun was manufactured before 1911 or 1912.
