This is a no reserve penny auction for a LC Smith Trap Grade side-by-side shotgun in 12 Gauge. Serial number- RE94317. This shotgun is in great condition for its age, and features 32" barrels with excellent bores, ejectors, 13 3/4" length of pull, 2" drop at heel, 1 13/16" drop at comb, Hunter One trigger, vent rib with mid bead, and case hardened receiver. We believe it has a 2 3/4" chamber, and we are unsure of the chokes. According to LC Smith records, only 2,700 Trap Grade shotguns were built and only 2,310 of them featured ejectors.

Production of the Trap Grade began in 1912. The 1913 catalog stated "In the production of this grade particular attention has been paid to meet the requirements of sportsmen who are desirous of a gun for trap shooting, as well as for field, with all of the latest attachments – Hunter One-Trigger and Automatic Ejector especially – and at a very low price. Each lock-plate is engraved with a trap shooting scene consisting of a trap house and a squad of five shooters at the score.

Please refer to the photos as two minor hairline cracks are seen on the stock where it meets the receiver.
