Marcel Thys & Sons Double Rifle – .500 Nitro Express – Engraved Safari – C

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Marcel Thys & Sons Double Rifle in .500 Nitro Express. Serial number – 0128. This rifle features 26" barrels with excellent bores, ejectors, 15" length of pull, Monte Carlo stock with neutral cast, folding rear express leaf sight, and an elegantly engraved receiver with an elephant seen on the bottom and cape buffalo on the right. The original Marcel Thys Ands Sons take down case is included, and all visible serial numbers appear to be matching.

As seen in the photos, the left receiver plate is missing and a small crack is seen on the wood. Minor rust/freckling is seen on the metal surfaces, and the rear trigger is dead.
