This is a no reserve penny auction for a Marlin 39A lever action rifle in .22 S/L/LR. Serial number- L13907. MFG 1954. This Marlin 39A is in good condition for its age with an excellent bore. This rifle features a full-length steel tubular magazine with a 26 Short, 21 Long or 19 Long Rifle capacity. It also features a "JM" stamp on the barrel showing it was manufactured by the original Marlin team. The Model 39A represents the oldest shoulder firearm design still being made anywhere in the world. It is the standard by which all other 22 rifles are judged. The rifle dissembles in seconds with only a coin for easy cleaning. This model is a legend among people who know rifles.
