MATCHING Nagoya Arsenal Nambu Type 94 – 8mm Nambu – Japanese WWII Pistol -C

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Nambu Type 94 semi-automatic pistol in 8x22mm Nambu. Serial number – 35701. This pistol is in great condition for its age with an excellent bore. It includes (1) magazine.

Manufactured in August 1943 (Shōwa date stamp 18.8) at the Chuo Kogyo factory under Nagoya Arsenal supervision, the Type 94 was compact, light, and extensively issued to Imperial Japanese military officers, tank crews, and aviation personnel throughout World War II. Unlike weapons named after the reigning Emperor's era (like the Type 14 for the 14th year of Taishō), the "94" reflects the Japanese imperial calendar year 2594 (1934 AD).
