Mauser 98 – .300 Win Mag – Mod 98 – Sporter – British Proofed – Nice!

This is a no reserve penny auction for a Sporter Mauser 98 bolt-action rifle rechambered in .300 Winchester Magnum. Serial number- P-25107. This rifle is in great condition with an excellent bore and features a beautiful tiger stripe stock! This rifle also features the British BNP with a crown, indicating the firearm passed the Birmingham Nitro Proof test in the UK.

Mauser rifles, particularly the Gewehr 98 and its variants, became widely available after both World Wars due to military surplus. Known for their exceptional strength, accuracy, and smooth bolt-action design, Mauser rifles were ideal platforms for conversion into sporting and hunting rifles.
