This is a no reserve penny auction for a Mauser 98K bolt-action rifle in 8mm Mauser. Serial number- D4622. This rifle is in good condition and has been sporterized. It includes a Weaver scope, thumbhole stock, and a leather sling. The Mauser was adopted on 21 June 1935 as the standard service rifle by the German Wehrmacht. It was one of the final developments in the long line of Mauser military rifles.
